IDAACS 2017 Press Release

The 9th IEEE Conference “Intelligent Data Acquisition and Advanced Computing Systems: Technology and Applications” (IDAACS’2017) will be held in September 21-23, 2017, in Bucharest, Romania. It is organized by the Research Institute of Intelligent Computer Systems, Ternopil National Economic University (TNEU), V.M. Glushkov Institute of Cybernetics, National Academy for Sciences of Ukraine and Faculty of Automatic Control and Computers, University “Politehnica” of Bucharest. The main goal of the IDAACS is to provide a forum for high quality reports on the state-of-the-art Theory, Technology and Applications of Intelligent Data Acquisition and Advanced Computer Systems as used in measurement, automation, and scientific research, in industry and in business.
Co-Chairs of the conference are Anatoliy Sachenko, Ukraine and Grigore Stamatescu, Romania. Dora Blanco Heras, Spain and John Kalomiros, Greece are co-chairing the International Program Committee.
This year more than 400 scientists from 35 countries were going to present their papers for IDAACS’2017. 348 extended abstracts were submitted and only 66% of them were accepted. All accepted papers are organized in 26 oral and three poster sessions. Vyacheslav Kharchenko, Ukraine initiated a new Workshop Cyber Physical Systems and Internet of Things Dependability within IDAACS 2017, this Workshop counted the two session. Besides, the IDAACS 2017 remained its peculiarity providing the nine special streams with 15 sessions. The biggest streams are Advanced Information Technologies in Environmental, Co-chairs Yury Kolokolov, Russian Federation and Kondo H. Adjallah, France and Cyber Security, Co-chairs George Markowsky, USA and Igor Kotenko, Russian Federation, three sessions per each.
The all accepted (and presented) papers will be published in conference Proceedings and available in the IEEE Xplore and indexed by Scopus and DBLP. Conference Proceedings will be applied to Web of Science as well (most of past IDAACS Proceedings were indexed by Web of Science).
It’s expected to collect selected papers for a publication in international journals indexed by Web of Science, Engineering Index (Compendex) and Scopus, in particular, IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement (TIM), International Journal of Computing and some others.
Moreover, River Publishers will publish extended versions of selected papers in books.
